Industries Minister Advocate Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun on friday said BNP is a platform against Awami League (AL) and it is not a political party at all.
“BNP is only an anti-Awami League platform. The results of the last national elections reveal that BNP has no public support,” he told reporters while exchanging views with local people at Narsingdi Circuit House here.
The industries minister said people gave their mandates to Awami League in the national elections for carrying out development activities in the country and now the new government can complete all the development initiatives soon.
“We’ve to fulfill the expectations of the nation. We specially work for the elimination of drugs and corruption,” he added.
