Awami League General Secretary on Wednesday urged the countrymen to cast their vote for ‘boat’, the electoral symbol of AL, in unison to continue the trend of massive development of the government.
“I urge all of you to cast your vote in favour of Awami League candidates to continue the development activities. I also urge the leaders and activists of the party to remain cautious during the campaign,” he said while speaking at a poll campaign of Cumilla-11 constituency candidate Railways Minister Md Mujibul Haque on Latifunnessa High School premises at Mian Bazar in Chowddhagram upazila of the district.
Md Mujibul Haque and local leaders also addressed the meeting with upazila Chairman Abdus Sobhan Bhuiyan in the chair.
Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, said BNP and Oikyafront have already killed five AL activists by attacking in polls campaigns to foil the election. “So, you should remain alert during the polls campaign,” he added.
He said there is no alternative to ‘boat’ to continue the trend of the development activities.-BSS
