Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif on Wednesday said BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman sending millions of money from London to create anarchy and violence in parliamentary election.
“Tarique is conspiring to foil the polls by sitting in his London den and is sending millions of money to execute his plot,” he said.
Hanif came up with the observations while talking to newsmen after attending street rally in Bhadalia under Sadar upazila in the district in the morning.
“Realising they won’t be able to win the upcoming election, BNP is plotting from the very start to foil the polls. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is the commander in chief of the conspirators and blaming the government and the EC to cover up their own crimes,” he added.
The Awami League leader said the EC has its particular guidelines and army will follow the guidelines in the parliamentary polls.
District Awami League organizing secretary Mehedi Hasan and sadar upazila Awami League leader Akteruzzaman Biswas were present on the occasion, among others.-BSS
