Nokia 9 is supposed to be a future flagship phone from HMD Global, and new leaked case renders have revealed a possible five camera set up at the back. While previous reports have suggested that the upcoming Nokia 9 phone will feature a penta or five lens setup, the latest leaked images are said to be based on CAD renders. The image renders were revealed By SlashLeaks.
The leaked images showcase two buttons on the right side and a cut out for a microphone at the top edge. At the bottom, one can see two speakers and USB-C hole. The Silicon case for the supposed Nokia 9 shows off seven cut-outs at the back arranged in pentagon design.
GSMArena points out that the five cut outs could be for the camera sensors while the other two might be for LED flash and PDAF (phase detection autofocus) laser.
The leaked Silicon case render corroborates the hands-on images of the purported Nokia 9 that surfaced last month. The hands-on images revealed the phone featuring five camera sensors at the back with a Zeiss branding in between the lenses. Reports speculate that the Nokia 9 might come with PureView trademark.
To recall, HMD Global acquired PureView branding from Microsoft in August this year. The PureView trademark was transferred to HMD Global by the European Union Intellectual Property office.
HMD Global is holding an event in Dubai on December 5 and the company is widely anticipated to unveil at least two devices at the event. Reports speculate that the company might showcase Nokia 9 and Nokia 8.1. The supposed Nokia 9 PureView is expected to carry the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.
Reports predict that the phone might feature a 6-inch display and come with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.-Indianexpress
