Jatiya Oikkyafront Chief Dr. Kamal Hossain on Saturday said they will not quit election at any circumstances.
`”Oikkyafront will remain in the polls, we will not boycott the election at any circumstances,” he told a press conference at Dhaka Reporters Unity here.
Dr Kamal, also Gono Forum president, urged the countrymen to go to polling centres and cast votes early in the morning.
He also called upon the youths to go to polling centres on time.
Dr Kamal urged the Election Commission, presiding officers, polling officers and government employees to perform their duties neutrally.
BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan, joint secretary general Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, Gono Forum executive president Advocate Shubrato Chowdhury, general secretary Mustafa Mohsin Montu, central leader Joglul Haider Afrik, Dr. Zafar Ullah Chowdhury, among others, were present at the briefing.-BSS
