Dr TIM Fazle Rabbi, a candidate of Oikyafront for Gaibandha-3 constituency and a former lawmaker, died of heart attack at a city hospital on Thursday.
He was 84.
Dr TIM Fazle Rabbi breathed his last around 3:30 am at United Hospital. He has been suffering from various diseases including bronchitis and high blood pressure.
He left behind three sons, two daughters and a host of relatives, admires and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Fazle Rabbi was elected MP from Jatiya Party from Gaibandha-3 constituency for six times from 1986.
The first Namaz-e-Janaza of the deceased was held at Chairman Bari Jame Mosque at Banani in the city after Johr prayers.-BSS
