Two drug traders were killed in a gunfight took place between two groups of drug traders in Damuria upazila of Chuadanga Thursday night. 
The deceased were identified as Jhantu Miah, son of Abul Kashem of Isharchandapur village and Dhulo Bishwas, son of Moshiur Rahman of Charulia village.
Tipped off that two gangs of criminals were exchanging bullets in the area, a team of police went to the spot, said Rafikul Islam, SI of Damurhuda Police Station.
At one stage, police recovered the bodies of Jhantu and Dhulo and sent those to local hospital morgue for autopsy.
Both are suspected to have been killed in a gunfight between two groups of criminals over controlling the drug business and previous enmity.
