3 ‘Neo-JMB’ men detained in Rajshahi

Police have detained three operatives of “Neo-JMB”, an ultra-radical offshoot of Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), from Rajshahi early Tuesday.
The detainees are identified as Abdullah Al Kafi, 28, son of one Abdus Salam of Jamloi village in Bagmara upazila, Sohel Rana, 22, son of one Alefuddin of Purba Daulatpur village and Mostafizur Rahman, 24, son of one Mazibur Rahman of Naopara village in Durgapur upazila.
Sub-inspector of Puthia police station Pranay Kumar Pramanik said they arrested the trio while they were conducting an organisational meeting.
They were shown arrested in a case filed under anti-terror act.
When asked, the SI also said Kafi is a student of NS College in Natore, Sohel is a student of Rajshahi College and Mostafiz is a student of Rajshahi University. 
Earlier, the arrestees were leaders of Islami Chhatra Shibir and recently they joined Neo-JMB, the SI said.
