he High Court on Tuesday stayed an order on the government's decision to deduct five marks for second time medical admission seekers.

The court also issued a rule asking the authorities concerned why the government's decision to deduct marks from second time admission seekers would not be declared as 'illegal' and 'unlawful'.

The HC bench comprising Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Md Jahangir Hossain passed the order.

Advocate Eunus Ali Akond filed the petition with the HC on August 27 against the government's 'discriminatory' decision.
