Tk 5 lakh bounty for capture of 'question leakers'

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid announced Tk 5 lakh reward for helping government to capture anyone who is involved in the SSC question paper leaks through social media or any other means.
The minister on Sunday afternoon came up with the announcement while briefing reporters after emerging from an urgent meeting with National Monitoring and Law and Order Committee over the ongoing SSC and equivalent examinations.
The minister said a committee of 11 members has been formed to probe the allegations that the two SSC Bangla paper questions leaked.
State Minister for Education Kazi Keramat Ali, Secretary of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Division Md Sohrab Hossain, Secretary of Technical and Madrasa Education Division Md Alamgir, officials of different agencies concerned, among others, were present at the meeting.
The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations under country's 10 education boards began on February 1.
